If the year of 2020 has taught all of us anything, it’s that you should never turn down a good drink. Because it sure seemed that every time the calendar flipped to a new month this year, we needed a drink to try and calm our nerves. Which is where Johnnie Walker whiskey comes in.
As someone who spent a good amount of time with Mr. Walker (or Johnnie to his friends) I can tell you that it is easily one of the best whiskeys you can buy. It is smooth, goes down easy and is excellent for taking the edge off a hard day when you need an adult beverage.
But have you ever wondered about the history of this iconic whiskey? Where it came from, how it got its name and how it became engrained into a part of the culture of not just the United States, but the entire world?
