The foodie world isn’t sure what to think about Salted Caramel Lay’s. Would you give them a try?

As if the world needs something else not to agree on, now there’s Lay’s. I suppose this was to be expected in the year 2020, right? What is going on? Allow us to explain.

Mashed recently shared that the internet is divided on a new flavor from Lay’s. What could this flavor be? Usually, you either like it or you don’t, the opinions aren’t too different. Well, the flavor in question is Salted Caramel. Yikes.

As a foodie, I’m willing to sample it all, but I am thinking twice about this one. Simply put, when I think of something that is salted caramel, chocolate or sweet comes to mind. But chips, no thanks.

With chips, I expect a crunchy salty treat. My taste buds already know what they’ll be getting. But Salted Caramel? Hmm, expect the unexpected?

Where can you find Salted Caramel chips Lay’s?

According to the source, Kroger will be stocking up on Salted Caramel Lay’s. They are so controversial, that they are flying off the shelves just because fans are so curious — so not exactly because they taste great.

Would we ever try these? Uhm. Maybe. I have to say, I am very curious. But I do already expect not to be a fan. At Guilty Eats, we try it all, though!

The source reminds fans that this isn’t the first time (and it won’t be the last) that Lay’s tries a new flavor that is a little crazy. Maybe you remember: Crispy Taco, Fried Green Tomato, Mango Salsa, or perhaps the Cappuccino? HERE are more.

If you ask me, I prefer regular, original Lay’s chips! It’s in my top three. Salty, simply, great snack. What is your favorite flavor?
