Popeye’s is ready to take care of people who don’t have plans for Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving is just about here and for those who do not already have a meal planned out, there are still a few places ready to serve you a hot meal on Thanksgiving day. One of these great places is Popeye’s which has embraced Thanksgiving and is ready to feed anywhere from one person to a whole family. That is right, you can still get your Popeye’s chicken and of course that chicken sandwich to eat on Thanksgiving day.

Popeye’s has been known for helping out on Thanksgiving Day, and 2020 has not been any different for them. They once again brought back their famous Cajun Turkey for those looking to serve a whole bird with minimal effort. Although the zesty and juicy Cajun Turkey is sure to be a hit, especially since it is precooked, chances are that your local Popeye’s has already sold out since preorders began back in October.

Popeye’s has partnered with Uber Eats for a great meal idea for the holiday

Unless you are hellbent on eating turkey for your Thanksgiving meal, Popeye’s still has you covered. In fact, if you want to order delivery through Uber Eats, Popeye’s has a great special for what they are calling a Churkey.

The Churkey is an 8-piece of fried chicken served in a plastic turkey dish, along with a large side of choice and four biscuits for just $20. All of this without having to get out of your PJ’s. Uber Eats is actually also throwing in a free Chicken Sandwich Combo with your Churkey meal order.

Knowing this makes me regret having a turkey already on hand and ready to go. If not, I would definitely be taking my appetite to Popeye’s for the spicy chicken along with some mashed potatoes and gravy and a side of coleslaw. Black Friday is always an option for this as well.
