Cure that New Year’s 2021 hangover at one of these fast food joints open today and ready to serve.

So you partied a little too hard on New Year’s Eve 2020, can we blame you? Absolutely not! After the insane year that has been 2020, we don’t expect anything less! But which fast food joints can help cure that hangover?

First and foremost, drink up! No, enough of that! I mean water. There’s nothing like good ol’ H2O to help out. After you are nice and hydrated, I suggested you place a fast food order on Uber Eats, DoorDash, or the delivery service of your choice!

Unless you feel okay to drive, ordering in is your best bet. Now, if you woke up early, breakfast from a fast food place will really pick up right up, but I can say from experience that it’s better to try and get more rest.

It’s New Year’s Day, not much to do for most of us so why not sleep in? Wake up again around noon ready for some lunch. But whatever you decide to do, here’s what’s open and what we recommend.

Cure your New Year’s 2021 hangover with these fast food meals

These are the fast food restaurants that are open today

  • Chick-fil-A
  • Burger King
  • McDonald’s
  • Wendy’s
  • Jack in the Box
  • Krispy Kreme
  • Dunkin’ Donuts
  • KFC
  • Taco Bell
  • Domino’s
  • Starbucks

Essentially, all major and most popular fast food places are open and ready to serve on New Year’s Day. Now here are the meals we most recommend:

A Chick-fil-A chicken biscuit should really hit that spot! Enjoy this with orange juice. Coffee is very tempting, but I would get some vitamin C in first, and coffee later in the day.

At McDonald’s, you can’t go wrong with a McMuffin, these are better than the biscuits there in my humble opinion. Again, pair this with an orange juice.

One thing to keep in mind is that you don’t want to overdue it, so wherever you go, don’t order a large meal. At Krispy Kreme and Dunkin’ Donuts, for example, don’t have more than one donut with your coffee.

Here’s another tip: I would avoid Taco Bell, at least until closer to dinner. Just because it’s open today doesn’t mean it’s the best choice! I wouldn’t go near Jack in the Box, either.

Every pizza chain is open for delivery, I suggest you order a pizza for lunch or early dinner! Oh, and a trip to Starbucks after you semi-recover with water and OJ is a-must!
