Here’s a quick list of the most popular fast food restaurants that are open today for New Year’s Day 2021.

Ready to start the day off on a great note? A good meal should be part of it! But which fast food restaurants are open for business today to help you ring in the New Year?

This New Year may not have been welcomed with a large party, bar-hopping, or even a small house party. Instead, I’m sure most of us were at home with a couple of friends and family members. It’s not what we were expecting or hoping, but that’s just the way the pandemic has shaped our holidays.

Still, this shouldn’t discourage any of us from enjoying our favorite fast food meal! In fact, I would argue that a good breakfast is a-must on a day like this. And why stop at breakfast? Let’s also enjoy our favorite lunch and dinner! Maybe even a snack and coffee in between?

Fast food restaurants open today, New Year’s Day 2021

Lucky for us foodies, all popular and major fast food restaurants are open for business on New Year’s Day 2021! Which restaurants are included on this list? We will jot down the most popular bunch, below.

Please keep in mind that some of these locations may have different hours of operation due to it being a holiday. Still, these should all be open. There’s a chance select locations open later than usual, such as 8 a.m. instead of 6 a.m., but it all depends!

For the most part, it’s a good bet the following are open regular hours:

  • Burger King
  • Boston Market
  • McDonald’s
  • Jack in the Box
  • Chick-fil-A
  • Starbucks
  • Sonic
  • IHOP
  • Denny’s
  • Subway
  • Red Lobster
  • Arby’s
  • All pizza delivery chains
  • On the Border
  • Chili’s

Are you surprised to see Chick-fil-A on the list? They do close on major holidays, but New Year’s Day (or Eve) is not one of these, they may open later than usual, though!
