Red Lobster is introducing two new menu items to start 2021

When it comes to kicking off a new year, we are always excited to see how restaurants like Red Lobster decide to change things up. And one of our favorite things is seeing new items being added to a menu. The fact that bacon is involved just seals the deal for us.

According to a press email we received about the way Red Lobster is ringing in 2021, we learned that the chain is adding two new items to their menu that are perfect for all the bacon lovers out there!

So what exactly are they adding to the menu?

First up we have the NEW! Wagyu Bacon Cheeseburger. While it may be a burger, this is no ordinary burger. This is a patty of Wagyu beef that has been grilled and topped with white cheddar, crispy bacon strips, tomato and lettuce, all resting between a brioche bun that has been toasted. You then get to choose a side to go with the burger, with options such as French fries to complete your meal.

The second new addition to the menu is an appetizer – the NEW! Bacon-Wrapped Sea Scallops! This dish is basically exactly what it says it is. It is a skewer of sea scallops that have been seared in wrapped in crispy pieces of bacon.

When it comes to decadent meal choices, both the new Wagyu Bacon Cheeseburger and the new Bacon-Wrapped Sea Scallops are the perfect choice. And whether you snag both of these dishes together or opt to just try one, these are both winners in our eyes.

Honestly, we can’t wait to see what else Red Lobster brings our way in 2021. After all, they are starting the year off with a deal and two new menu items!
