Krispy Kreme is helping us celebrate Valentine’s Day with doughnuts

Want to get into the mood for love and romance? Krispy Kreme wants to help with a bit of hearts and doughnuts. From dough-notes to heart shapes the doughnut chain is ready to make magic happen this Valentine’s Day.

Remember in February 2020 (I know that was a lifetime ago already) when Krispy Kreme decided to give us their own take on Conversation Hearts for Valentine’s Day? They gave us the cutest heart shaped doughnuts with sweet little messages on them and it was like enjoying a little love in a box.

For 2021, Krispy Kreme is once again in the business of heart-shaped doughnuts. And we are here for it! Not only are they giving us four new heart-shaped doughnuts to indulge with, but they are even going so far as to offer us a box of “dough-notes.”

The dough-notes are a box of heart shaped doughnuts that is designed to look like a letter than has been post-marked for delivery. Each box comes with a dozen doughnuts and the chance to personalize it for the person you are gifting with your heart(s).

Krispy Kreme brings the love with new heart-shaped Valentine’s Day doughnuts

Of course, one of our big questions was what are the different flavors and designs for the 2021 Valentine’s Day doughnuts. Luckily we have the answer:

• The Chocolate Caramel Heart – For this doughnut, we get a caramel kreme filled doughnut that gets dipped in chocolate icing, drizzled with a white icing, and sprinkled with a Valentine’s themed sprinkles and confetti mix.
• The Strawberries & Kreme Heart – The second doughnut features a strawberries and kreme filled doughnut that is then dipped into a strawberry icing and topped with a heart made of sugar.
• The Sugar Cookie Heart – Our third heart shaped doughnut is a sugar cookie kreme filled offering that is first dipped in white icing and then drizzled with it before a Valentine’s themed sugar blend gets sprinkled on top.
• The Sprinkled Heart – The final doughnut of our foursome is a cake batter kreme filled doughnut that gets dipped into a red icing and then topped with heart-shaped sprinkles.

Honestly, all four of these doughnuts sound magical in their own way, and while we were definitely fans of their Conversation Hearts doughnuts, these are definitely inspired by love and decadence.

With these heart-shaped doughnuts being all about Valentine’s Day, we already know that these will not be around for long. In fact, if you want to get your hands on the dough-notes box or just a collection of these heart shaped doughnuts for yourself, you may want to hurry.
