From his collab cooking show with Martha Stewart, Martha and Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party, to his first cookbook, the acclaimed West Coast rapper’s love of food is well documented. His first cookbook features everything from soul food to a recipe for Gin N Juice to munchies like chewy. The recipes have fun names like, “Go Shorty, It’s Your Birthday Cake” and “Chop It Up! Salad.” There’s also a section called OG Munchies, dedicated to one of Snoop Dogg’s favorite herbs.
I love this cookbook. I actually borrowed this from a friend, and then ended up just buying it for myself. I have made multiple recipes from this book. I included a picture of his orange chicken. I have also made the spaghetti and meatballs twice (and plan on making it again and again!), the peanut butter choc. chip cookies, and the gumbo. All of them are seriously so good.
No, there is no “special” ingredients, just amazingly delicious food. Was actually thinking of doing a “Snoops Thanksgiving” this year! Would DEFINITELY recommend and would absolutely gift this to family and friends. — April A.
