When most foodies think of Buffalo Wild Wings, seafood sandwiches are not the first thing that comes to mind. Beer, yes and wings obviously. But seafood sandwiches? Not so much.

But with the Great Seafood Sandwich Wars at a fever pitch, it shouldn’t come as any surprise that the fast casual chain has decided to jump into the trenches and get themselves a piece of the seafood sandwich action.

And while their new sandwich isn’t exactly “new” in the strictest sense, it is new to enough people that this is probably the first time you’ve heard of it.

According to those wing loving people at Chewboom, Buffalo Wild Wings has announced a new Beer-Battered Fish Sandwich arriving at almost all locations. It will be available starting February 17 and will be on the menu until March 29.

Buffalo Wild Wings Beer-Battered Fish Sandwich arrives this month

The Beer-Battered Fish Sandwich includes a wild-caught icelandic haddock fillet, beer-battered and fried to a golden crisp. They top that with shredded lettuce and garlic tartar sauce made in house and put in all on a toasted hoagie roll.

In addition, the chain is using the same style haddock fillet to add Fish and Chips to the menu as well. It includes the fillet and the garlic tartar sauce on the side as well as their natural cut french fries.

Now, if the Beer-Battered Fish Sandwich sounds kind of familiar to some of you, that’s because Buffalo Wild Wings has offered the sandwich in the past at select locations. Then it included a Alaskan Cod fillet but this is the first time they are rolling it out nationwide.

So if this sounds like a winner to you, head out and get one while you can. They’ll be gone before you know it.
