The best sandwich in every state
One of our next sandwich destinations is a state-wide take on the Maine fave as discussed about above. The other one, a super classic bunch of flavors that, yes, we’ve discussed thus far already.
Be sure to be dropping us some of your personal favorite sandwich ideas from your states that you’re from as well! We’d love to hear them all!
Next up, let’s travel to Massachusets and Michigan!
21. Massachusets
Sandwich: Clam Roll
Where to Enjoy: Woodman’s of Essex
Clam rolls are certainly the number one sandwich that many people think of when they think of the quintessential Massachusets sandwich meal. Comment down below if you’re from Massachusetts and agree/disagree with that statement! We’d love some ‘authentic’ input from anyone and everyone that is welcome to and would love to share their thoughts!
The clams on this delicious sandwich (that are also served alone without bread if that’s more your jam/’sandwich’ style) are deep-fried and super crispy, bursting with flavor, served on a New England-style hot dog bun, then the bun is lined with tartar sauce and finished off with some sort of citrus juice just to top it all off. Can we say drool-worthy….? Why yes, I think we can!
Have you tried this one yet? Your thoughts? Let’s hear it!
22. Michigan
Sandwich: Reuben
Where to Enjoy: Louie’s Ham & Corned Beef
Another favorite place to get one of these delicious reubens is from a place called Hygrade Deli, but for today, we’re going to focus on Louie’s Ham & Corned Beef because the sandwich pictured above contains both, and honestly, we can’t ask for anything more now, can we? Nope.
What’s in this sandwich? Corned beef and mustard. On rye bread. That. Is. All. Super Yummy.
