Sandwich: Pimento Cheese Sandwich

This is a very popular favorite flavor down in the south. It’s typically in more of a spread form that is delicious on crackers, bread, and yes, even a sandwich! What’s so wrong with slapping some cheese spread in between two pieces of toasted bread and calling it a sandwich? Let me tell ya, absolutely nothing! Dig. In.

Sandwich: Slow-Roasted Beef

Where to Enjoy: Kroll’s Diner

It’s something deliciously simple in this region of the state/country alike. It’s a freshly roasted roast beef sandwich, usually served with a gigantic heaping scoop of mashed potatoes, all topped and slathered with some classic and freshly homemade brown gravy.

When it’s cold outside, this seems to be the most perfect sandwich and side combination. Who needs a bag of room temp chips, when you’ve got some piping hot freshly made mashed potatoes to accompany this most classic sandwich of all sandwiches?!
