So, we’ve already been to Alabama and Alaska. Have a favorite already? Well, hold your horses because there’s so much more to come that is sure to knock your current best sandwich socks off. Don’t care for turkey (seriously) or fish (um) sandwiches? Then let’s take a look at some more sandwiches that you’ll surely enjoy nonetheless.

Which sandwich is your current favorite? Think we can change your mind?

Next up, let’s travel to good ole Arizona and Arkansas (y’all).

3. Arizona

Sandwich: Pane Bianco

Where to Enjoy: Fresh Caprese Sandwich

O.M.G. This sandwich looks nothing short of supreme deliciousness, but then again, you have to really like this array of flavor combinations in order to truly indulge in this. True Italians are sure to be returning customers of this sandwich as well. What’s on it? The sandwich bread is made from house-made wood-fired focaccia, topped with housemade mozzarella that is made in season with freshly sliced fat slices of tomatoes, or roasted red peppers. Also, don’t forget the ever-so-classic sprinkle of olive oil all topped off with freshly picked basil from their garden.

Have you tried this one yet? Your thoughts? Let’s hear it!

4. Arkansas

Sandwich: Fried Catfish Sandwich

Where to Enjoy: Lassis Inn

This eating establishment was originally a pretty well-known gathering place for organizers during the Civil Rights years. If you notice in their Instagram post above, the bread is off to the side so yes, there is some assembly required; however, the taste is sure to make up for it.

What’s included? First, you start out by ordering the size of the filets that you want, starting from small and going all the way up to extra large. Should you eat at the establishment they have Louisiana hot sauce on the table to sprinkle all over your sandwich. With the current times, just ask for some on the side with your curbside pickup orders or buy some to have stockpiled in your pantries.
