Still don’t have a favorite sandwich on this list of fourteen of fifty thus far? That’s okay because we’ve still got over half of the country’s best sandwiches to talk about, so no need to fret! Let us know down in the comments below which sandwich has been your favorite thus far, and if we’ve missed the mark on a certain state as well! We won’t judge, that’s for sure!

There’s so much that can be done to a sandwich….what’s your fave way?

Next up, let’s travel to Iowa and Kansas!

15. Iowa

Sandwich: Pork Tenderloin Sandwich

Where to Enjoy: Breitbach’s Country Dining

This one is probably the biggest sandwich on this list. I mean, just take a look at the photo above! You can’t even see the bottom part of the bun, just the top. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with the pork being significantly larger than the bread itself; however, I do feel that this is truly the perfect sandwich to share with someone, and then order something else and share that too, that way you can experience all flavors of Breitbach’s all together.

Have you tried this one yet? Your thoughts? Let’s hear it!

16. Kansas

Sandwich: Bierock

Where to Enjoy: Prost Biergarten

Personally, I’ve never heard of this type of ‘sandwich’; however, if you’re like me and don’t really hate many foods if any, then this sounds pretty delicious if you ask me. What exactly is a Bierock? Well, a Bierock is essentially a yeast roll filled and stuffed with beef, cabbage, onions, and a plethora of delicious and mouth-water seasonings.

The coolest part about this place is that even if you don’t live nearby or within range, there’s a neighboring place that serves the exact same sandwiches, called Becky’s Bierock’s that will ship….nationwide. How about that folks? Maybe I’ll have to order some for myself, right?!
