When you think chocolate, you don’t usually think lemon and definitely not lemon meringue pie. While some citrus goes well with chocolate, you don’t exactly think about drizzling your lemon tart with chocolate syrup. But whatever you think of this combination, we can now all try it with Dove’s newest chocolates for springtime.
The chocolates come in 6.3-ounce bags with 24 pieces each. Each candy mixes white chocolate and lemon meringue flavor. I’m not a huge fan of white chocolate (it’s gross), but I could actually see this working.

They aren’t using milk or dark chocolate which helps make this combination work. White chocolate is so sweet that cutting it with lemon might give that sweetness something tart to play off of.
And who doesn’t love lemon anything during the springtime?! It’s the perfect addition to just about any meal and now we can have it in our chocolates too.
Dove launching lemon meringue pie chocolates for your Easter basket
As much as me and white chocolate are not a match made in heaven, I might have to get a bag of these for my Easter basket. And yes, adults can have Easter baskets. Don’t judge!
These bags of lemony chocolate can currently be found at Walmart and Target for $2.98 and $3.99, respectively. Target has 7.4-ounce bags so that might be the reason for the higher price. Get them while you can as they probably won’t be around once spring is over.
