Easter might be over a month away but that will not stop candy companies from putting out their Easter candy early. If Christmas stuff can come out the day after Halloween, Easter candy can come out right after Valentine’s Day. And what screams Easter more than Peeps?

After missing some holidays last year, Peeps are back and with a very cool (and tasty) product!

Where do you put your Peeps when you’re not eating them? Do you just leave them in the container? Boring! Now you can create a chicken coop for them that is made out of cookies. Watch out gingerbread houses, the cookie coop is here to take your place!

Peeps is bringing out a Cookie Coop so you can build an edible coop for your sugary marshmallow chicks. The Cookie Coop kit comes with Peeps, premade icing, a mix of different candies, sugar cookie panels for building the coop, and chicken-shaped cookies.

The cookie panels can be easily connected with a “link and lock” feature. This means you can use the icing more for decorating than for building the structure.

Peeps provide everything you need to make a Cookie Coop for your marshmallow chicks

You can currently get a set of 2 coops for $10.99 at BJ’s Wholesale Club, but single coop kits are available at Walgreens for $9.99.

What better way to spend Easter than by making a chicken coop for all of the marshmallow sweets you get in your Easter basket. It can become a new tradition just like making a gingerbread house has been one for Christmas.
