Could you even imagine all of the special must-try state foods that we still have left to go? There are so many states that we’ve covered already, yet there are still so many more left to go! Let’s continue on to the next two states to see what have to bring to the delicious food games!

Which must-try food do you think should be replaced, and with what? Let’s hear it all!

Next up: let’s travel to Massachusetts and Michigan for some more added deliciousness!

21. Massachusetts

Food Item/Food Dish: Clam Chowder

Where to Enjoy: Legal Sea Foods

Come on, now….we all know that this was going to be the special must-try food of Massachusetts. New England Clam Chowder is on the soup menus of restaurants all over the United States (and I’ve had some delicious ones to say the least), but I’m sure that a nice big bowl of this just hits different whenever eaten straight from the source (in Massachusetts). Let us know down below if you’ve had some true New England Clam Chowder and how different it is from other non-authentic places!

Legal Sea Foods opened in Cambridge back in 1950, so it’s pretty safe to say that this place and this soup alike has been pleasing it’s eaters and fans (locals & tourists) for ages now!

Have you tried this special food yet? Your thoughts? Let’s hear it!

22. Michigan

Food Item/Food Dish: Coney Dog

Where to Enjoy: Lafayette Coney Island

To me, this isn’t necessarily something that I would’ve expected coming out of Michigan. I don’t know what I was expecting, but a Coney Dog certainly wasn’t it; however, this is a delicious dish nonetheless.

What is a true authentic Coney Dog you may ask? Let’s start with a plain ole hot dog. Imagine a mountain of meaty chili on top of it, topped off with some chopped diced raw onions (I bet caramelized onions would taste even better though) and finally some simple yellow mustard. What could go wrong, am I right?!
