These next two special foods are something sweet and something so classically savory that is just simply can’t be beat. Let’s see what they are; here we go….

Which of these next two special must-try foods are YOU most excited for?!

Next up: let’s travel to Oregon and Pennsylvania for some more added deliciousness!

37. Oregon

Food Item/Food Dish: Marionberry Pie

Where to Enjoy: Willamette Valley Pie Company

Marionberries?! What exactly is a Marionberry? Well, a Marionberry was actually something that was bred at Oregon State University by cross-breeding two different types of blackberries. These types of berries don’t typically ship too well, so that being said, they’re mostly made into jams, jellies, muffins, ice cream, and yes, even some delicious pie as well.

The WIllamette Valley Pie Company over in Salem actually produces over 12 million pounds of berries per year, even letting visitors to their establishment the opportunity to pick their very own Marionberries!

38. Pennsylvania

Food Item/Food Dish: Philly Cheesesteak

Where to Enjoy: John’s Roast Pork

This one’s definitely one of the most obvious choices on this list here. A philly cheesesteak is such a classic sandwich that everyone has to try one at least once in their lifetime (from Philly of course). I’ve never tried one straight from the source, but I’m most sure that it just hits different whenever you do so.

The most common cheese to consume with this sandwich are American, Provolone, and yes, sometimes even Cheese Whiz (yum).
