So far, we’ve had some spicy foods, satisfied out sweet tooth, and (virtually) tasted some true as all comfort food. Which side of things is your favorite? Let’s chat!

Out of ALL of these must-try foods, which ones sounds the MOST delish?!

Next up: let’s travel to Texas and Utah for some more added deliciousness!

43. Texas

Food Item/Food Dish: Smoked Brisket

Where to Enjoy: Franklin Barbecue’s

Franklin Barbecue’s is just one of those places that it’s almost a right of passage to get there hours before their doors open at 11 am and patiently wait for the arrival of the deliciously smokey smell that goes along with it. Brisket is probably one of the most classic BBQ dishes, and since everything’s bigger in Texas, I’m sure they don’t disappoint one bit!

Simple barbecue is the best, and that’s exactly how Franklin Barbecue’s does it, folks! Eat up!

44. Utah

Food Item/Food Dish: Fry Sauce

Where to Enjoy: Crown Burger

Believe it or not, Fry Sauce, Utah’s most famous of sauces, is just made up of Ketchup and Mayonaise. Another surprising fact is that it was first discovered or made ‘accidentally’ when a chef at Arctic Circle (a regional fast food chain) mixed white barbecue sauce with ketchup way back in the 1940’s. It was first served on sandwiches, quickly moving to one of the most delicious fry dipping sauces out there.

Simplicity is key. Dishes or dips don’t need to be fancy to be good, am I right? Dip on!
