It’s home stretch time here, so keep holding on just a bit longer here. More delicious food to come!

Which must-try food have you recreated at home? Any suggestions on any?

Next up: let’s travel to Washington and West Virginia for some more added deliciousness!

47. Washington

Food Item/Food Dish: Rainer Cherries

Where to Enjoy: Barrett Orchards

The best cherries out there. Seriously. They’re basically ‘white’ cherries, and in all honesty, they’re a million times sweeter, firmer (super important), way way juicier  and just overall delicious. They only have one good season or time of year, so when you see them, get them because they don’t come around too often and for too long at a time.

Rainer Cherries take the cake for me! Eat up!

48. West Virginia

Food Item/Food Dish: Pepperoni Rolls

Where to Enjoy: Tomaro’s Bakery

Pepperoni has officially been named the state food of West Virginia, and in all honesty, there’s nothing to be mad at here. It’s basically like their version of Hot Pockets, which let’s be honest are just as delicious as well.

Some more so modern takes on this may include sauteèd onions, peppers, and marinara sauce!
