Next up on this list are two very unique things to each state, as if all of these others food weren’t already. From something freezing cold to brighten up and cool down any hot Summer day, to something that combines sweet and savory in a super unlikely combo, this slide’s full of delicious and questionable food item(s) alike.

Must-try foods vary from state-to-state, but they’re still delicious nonetheless!

Next up: let’s travel to Hawaii and Idaho for some more added deliciousness!

11. Hawaii

Food Item/Food Dish: Shaved Ice

Where to Enjoy: Uluani’s

Shaved ice is mostly called “shave” ice out by the locals; however, no matter how you pronounce it or whatever you decide to call it, it’s fresh, it’s delicious, and it’s the perfect frozen cold treat for any given hot Summer day.

Over at Uluani’s they are most known for their wacky and unique flavors, such as lychee and even Tiger’s Blood (I’ve personally had that here in Illinois in my home state; it’s delicious, but I wonder how it compares to Hawaii’s version). Have any of you had it out in Hawaii? What does it taste like? Let us know down below in the lovely comments either way!

12. Idaho

Food Item/Food Dish: Ice Cream Potato

Where to Enjoy: West Side Drive-In

Sure, this is called an Ice Cream Potato, but is it really an actual potato? Nope! West Side Drive-In has these magical talents to transform frozen ice cream treats to look just like the real thing. Don’t like potatoes, but like desserts? This is the most perfect frozen treat for you!

The potato part of it? Made out of delicious and creamy vanilla ice cream. What else is it made up of? It’s rolled in cocoa powder, fresh whipped cream adorns it to make it look like sour cream on top; finally, a smothering amount of chocolate sauce tops it all off to make it taste and look like a sundae just the same over here!
