We’ve barely made a dent yet here; however, there are already so many different foods that I just wanna sink my teeth into. How about you?

Any of these must-try state foods catching your eye thus far? Please let us know!

Next up: let’s travel to Illinois and Indiana for some more added deliciousness!

13. Illinois

Food Item/Food Dish: Deep Dish Pizza

Where to Enjoy: Gino’s East

Now personally, I’ll admit that I live in Illinois, but I’m not the biggest fan of deep dish pizza; however, it’s something that everyone should try at some point in their lifetime (for the experience alone, basically).

If I had to choose my favorite place to get pizza like this, it would definitely be Gino’s East, which has several locations across the entire Chicagoland Area. They’re so popular that they’ve taken their pizzas and made them into frozen delights so, no matter where you live, you can still enjoy it!

14. Indiana

Food Item/Food Dish: Breaded Pork Tenderloin Sandwich

Where to Enjoy: The Mug

Besides this being a big favorite out in Indiana, it’s also literally a big sandwich in of itself. The pork is pounded out so thin that the size of the breaded and deep-fried pork totally overtakes the bun. In that case, do you really need the bun? Probably not, but trust me, I’m sure it gives it an added flavor unlike any other.

Coolest part? the pork is actually pasteur-raised on local farms to the given area(s).
