If you are anything like me, then you might be a little obsessed with the Matcha Latte (especially the iced version). Whether you are ordering from Dunkin’ or Starbucks, both places make it easy to enjoy this green tea based creation.

As someone who consistently orders an Iced Matcha Green Tea Latte from Starbucks, you get into a routine that can be hard to break. At the same time, it also adds up. And you may be looking for an alternative to that $4 plus drink.

Luckily for all of us we have Lipton. With the help of the new Lipton Matcha Latte Tea Mix Sweetened, which as an easy to mix powder, we can easily put together an iced (or hot) latte worthy of Dunkin at the very least. (Seriously, I don’t know exactly what they mixed into the Starbucks Matcha powder, but whatever it is, it makes for a smooth latte that is hard to compare.)

After years of being a Starbucks Iced Matcha Latte drinker, and searching high and low for a way to make this drink at home, I am happy to say that Lipton is finally giving me what I want and need. From flavor to ease of use (this is so easy to blend), the Lipton Matcha Latte Tea Mix is perfect for anyone looking to save a little money while enjoying this delightful beverage.

Lipton gives us a Matcha Latte Mix that will save us from needing to leave the house

Considering each bag will run you around $7.95 on Amazon or about $5 from Walmart, and makes approximately 12 servings, we can already confirm that just grabbing one bag of this mix will save you money over ordering out. Making your Iced Matcha Latte at home just two times is actually a massive savings. And if you are able to make 12 glasses of latte, then forget it – you may never order out again.

When it comes to flavor comparisons, I would definitely say that Lipton easily compares to Dunkin and their Matcha Latte, and may even be a little bit better because it has a slightly richer flavor profile over all.

As someone who really is skeptical about making a Matcha Latte at home, Lipton was a nice surprise. Not only was every sip a perfect balance of green tea flavor and sweetness, but being able to adjust to taste at home means not having to spend extra to get what you want, when you want it.

Lipton has always been a favorite tea in my home and now it may just be the drink I turn to as a replacement for my Dunkin and Starbucks runs.
