Grocery stores on Easter 2021: Are Walmart or Target open today?

Do you know which grocery stores are open today, on Easter 2021? We’ve put a quick list together, sharing Walmart, Target, and other store hours.
No matter what holiday it may be, Easter or Christmas, we seem to always need to run to the store for something we forgot. Whether it’s a dessert or an ingredient we missed, running quickly to the store is almost a tradition. Well, at least in my household it is.
If it’s a birthday party or gathering at my home, running to Walmart, Kroger, or another local grocery store or massive retailer for something last-minute is never an issue. On a holiday, however, it’s a whole different story!

Before the pandemic, nearly all stores were open. Some regular hours, others cut the day a bit short, but you could still count on the vast majority being open. But ever since the pandemic, availability and priorities have changed.
Take Thanksgiving 2020, for example, many stores were closed, which didn’t use to be the case. That said, what can we expect this Easter?
Are Walmart or Target open today?
Target is not opened Easter Sunday so turn that car back around. I know, it’s disappointing, but they need the day off, too! Costco is closed too. And if you were wanting to buy some plants before your Easter gathering, Lowe’s is also not open today (but Home Depot is open).
Also closed are Aldi, Natural Grocers, Sam’s Club, H-E-B.
