Krispy Kreme collaborates with OREO on their first co-branded creation

It might just be the best foodie collaboration of 2021. Krispy Kreme and OREO have teamed up for not one, but two limited edition doughnuts!

Starting on April 5 and remaining in stores until April 18, Krispy Kreme is giving us two new glazed doughnuts with a must-try OREO Cookie Glaze. According to the press release from the company, this is, “the first time in its nearly 84-year history that Krispy Kreme has collaborated with another brand to create an all-new glaze for its glaze waterfall, providing doughnut and cookie lovers a whole new way to enjoy OREO.”

So what exactly are these sweet treats that we absolutely need to have in our life right now? I’m glad you asked!

Krispy Kreme teams up with OREO for two new doughnuts

Up first we have the OREO Cookie Glazed Doughnut, which is an Original Glazed Doughnut that has then been filled with cookies and KREME, covered in the OREO Cookie Glaze, and then it is finished with a drizzle of icing and crushed up pieces of OREO cookies.

Then we have the OREO Cookie Over-The-Top Doughnut, which basically takes the OREO Cookie Glazed Doughnut and kicks things up a notch by actually topping it with the cookies and KREME filling, then drizzles the whole thing in a chocolate icing and finishing the entire creation off with an OREO cookie wafer. (This is not for the faint of heart!)

Honestly, both of these doughnuts sound amazing if you are an OREO lover. And the fact that there are two different doughnuts to satisfy our sweet tooth with is just a win all around.

Obviously if you really want to give either (or both) of these doughnuts a try, you will want to head over to Krispy Kreme ASAP, after all we only have about two weeks to enjoy this special collaboration.
