When you think about Wendy’s, the Baconator burger likely comes to mind first, it sure does for me! It’s a staple at this fast food chain and has yet to be successfully replicated by its competition, but want to give it your best shot?

For one reason or another, we’ve all tried to copy some of our favorite recipes. Whether it’s from a restaurant or fast food chain, we take on a challenge. Because imagine creating your favorite meal at home.

How about taking on a fast food burger, though? That meal has got to be one of the toughest, and one of the most popular burgers of all time? Forget about it! That is, unless you want to try your hand at Wendy’s Baconator burgers.

Mashed brought this recipe to our attention as shared by chef and recipe developer Jason Goldstein of Chop Happy.

Make your own Wendy’s Baconator burger

According to Goldstein, this recipe is “super easy,” so wow that doesn’t add pressure at all! Before diving into the recipe, the source reminds readers that the Baconator has 960 calories and 66 grams of fat. On top of this, it also has 1,540 milligrams of sodium, yikes!

Not to kill the mood, the source only wanted to warn us that this isn’t the ideal daily meal, even for us guilty eaters, but it’s tasty to try from time to time.

Now, the full recipe can be found on mashed, but to give you an idea, you’ll need 1 pound of ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, eight bacon strips, four slices of American cheese, two hamburger buns, ketchup, and mayo.
