Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is enticing us to enjoy Teremana Tequila to kick off the month of May. With the “Guac on the Rock” initiative, not only do we get paid back on a treat, but local restaurants also get a much-needed helping hand.

Who doesn’t enjoy a nice cocktail while enjoying a spring day and kicking back with some chips and guacamole? I certainly find it enjoyable. Thanks to The Rock, you can get a Venmo refund of up to $10 for a single guacamole order. The only catch (if you even want to call it that) is that your receipt has to include your guacamole order along with a purchase of a Teremana cocktail.

The initiative is a special way to help celebrate Johnson’s birthday on May 2nd along with Cinco de Mayo (May 5th). The promotion is scheduled from May 1st through May 5th and Johnson is reimbursing up to $1,000,000 in guacamole.

The idea is to drive more consumers to their local restaurants by spurring them to order and get reimbursed. There is no restriction on whether you dine inside the restaurant, sit for outside dining, or get take-out. Whatever your preference, you can still get Guac on the Rock.

This is a great way to get people back to supporting their local restaurants while having a festive drink and appetizer along with their meal. It is also a great way to get even more people to try and enjoy Teremana tequila. The premium small-batch tequila was an instant success upon its launch last March.

I am a fan of the Teremana Blanco and definitely have plans of taking full advantage of the initiative. If you want to do the same, all you have to do is order a Teremana tequila cocktail and guacamole. Upload your itemized receipt by going to guacontherock.com or by scanning the unique QR code in the restaurant. Reimbursement will be paid to your Venmo account after the receipt is approved.

You have to be 21 to be eligible, but other than that, there are not many restrictions. Full details can be found on the Guac on the Rock website. You can also find out which local establishments carry Teremana via their website locator.

Once you decide where to go, enjoy a Teremana cocktail, chips and guacamole, and maybe some tacos or any entree of your choosing to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. Maybe a margarita and some fajitas. Make sure to take advantage as soon as you can because once the pot hits $1,000,000.00 you will be out of luck.
