Are donut holes still at Jack in the Box?

Jack in the Box is known for its tacos. But they recently dropped a new dessert, donut holes, and it’s a new favorite and quickly became part of every single order of mine each time I stopped by the fast food chain.

Imagine my sadness and pain when I pull up at Jack in the Box to place my order followed by “and two orders of donut holes, please!” (yes, two, don’t judge!) only to be told that no, there are no more donut holes.

Say what? I looked and sure enough, they weren’t on the menu, but I was still confused. When I pulled up at the window for my order, I asked if donut holes were no longer available and they told me they have left the permanent menu once again!

This isn’t the first time a fast food joint has disappointed me this week. You can read more about Wendy’s quietly killing half-size salads HERE. So it hasn’t been a good foodie week for me!

Will donut holes return to Jack in the Box?

I was aware the donut holes are a limited-time menu item, this isn’t their first time on the menu, but they just returned last month!  Why the short stay? Why so soon! What was that, a month or so? Not long enough, Jack!

Part of the reason I loved Jack in the Box’s donut holes is because they reminded me of McDonald’s donut sticks, except better tasting. Now I have to find another fast food dessert to replace these with! Any suggestions, fellow Guilty Nation?
