Starbucks rolls out Strawberry Funnel Cake Frappuccino and other summer items

It’s officially iced coffee season (for those of us who don’t drink cold coffee in negative temperatures, anyway), and Starbucks is celebrating by launching its summer menu.

The seasonal options feature new and returning items, and all of them have one thing in common: They’re perfect for dessert lovers looking for a quick snack or refresher.

Predictably, the most exciting items headed to Starbucks this summer are the frappuccinos. In particular, the newest addition to the company’s frappe family is stealing the show: the limited-edition Strawberry Funnel Cake Frappuccino.

With a funnel cake-flavored base and layers of strawberry puree and whipped cream, this drink looks every bit as delicious as it sounds. Check it out for yourself:

If funnel cake isn’t really your thing, Starbucks’ popular Caramel Ribbon Crunch and Mocha Cookie Crumble frappes are also available. These year-round items are sure to satisfy your sweet tooth and keep you cool during the summer months.

Of course, there’s more than frappes headed to the coffee chain this season.

What else is on the Starbucks summer menu?

The other limited-edition item on Starbucks’ summer menu is its Unicorn Cake Pop, a returning item and previous hit — because, honestly, who doesn’t love an adorable, fantasy-themed dessert? Shaped like the mystical creature it’s named for and dipped in chocolate icing, this treat is perfect for anyone having a sugar craving.

There are several more year-round items featured on Starbucks’ summer menu as well, including its Dragon Drink, Mango Dragonfruit Starbucks Refresher, and Pink Drink. These have basically become staples in the hot weather, and they’ll be available throughout the season.

Everything on the company’s summer menu is available starting today, so there’s no time to waste. If you’re planning on trying everything, we’d start with the Strawberry Funnel Cake Frappe and Unicorn Cake Pop. After all, they won’t be around long!
