McDonald’s used to be the breakfast king. Not necessarily because it offered the best menu options, but because breakfast was available all day. Now, select menu items are still available, but it’s very limited, and not all day.

This happened due to the pandemic, and fast food chains took advantage of it and debuted some very tempting and delicious breakfast menu offers. It has certainly allowed hungry foodies to explore their options, and one of our new favorite fast food breakfast places is Wendy’s.

There’s no question Wendy’s has better quality food compared to most fast food restaurants, but not everything available is good for you. In fact, there’s one breakfast item nutrition experts suggest you skip, according to mashed.

Wendy’s breakfast has some great and not so great selections

The source shares that the Wendy’s Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Biscuit is the worst possible item on the menu you can order. Yikes! Why? It consists of 610 calories with 45 grams of fat and a whopping 1,370 milligrams of sodium. Yeah, not exactly how you want to start your day, is it?

Don’t get me wrong, we are Guilty Eats for a reason, but we do want to stay healthy in order to enjoy some guilty pleasures. And this one may just not be worth it!

What can you order instead? The same source suggests going with the Classic Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Sandwich. This one only has 320 calories (compared to 610) and 840 milligrams of sodium. Still high, sure, but it’s the lesser of two evils.
