3. Cinnabon Delights

Since the first time I tried Cinnabon I was hooked. So anytime a restaurant adds a Cinnabon item of any kind to their menu, I have to try it.

When Taco Bell released their Cinnabon Delights I was thrilled to have a sweet treat to indulge with since they cancelled the Empanada. Too bad this sweet treat is more of a dud than anything else.

Not only do these “Delights” end up being dry nearly every single time, but often times they end up leaving a weird aftertaste that definitely doesn’t scream delightful or Cinnabon yummy.

2. Cinnamon Twists

I might get some hate for this one, but honestly the Cinnamon Twists aren’t that great. They have always been a poor substitute for the Caramel Apple Empanada, but lately they have gotten even worse.

If you are lucky you end up with something light and airy with the perfect dusting of cinnamon. But often times you are really unlucky and end up with something greasy and stale instead. The cinnamon sugar coating can only go so far when it comes to saving these twists and it is rare that it actually does. This is a dessert I want to love, but honestly it’s just been lacking lately.

1. Black Bean Crunchwrap Supreme

I am a Crunchwrap Supreme fan all the way, and I was so excited when they added a vegetarian friendly option with the Black Bean Crunchwrap Supreme. But that excitement quickly shatter when I realized that unlike its counterpart, this take on the Crunchwrap comes up short on flavor and crispness. When it comes to this menu item, it feels like the flavor takes a hit.

And while the original Crunchwrap Supreme sometimes ends up a bit soggy, when it comes to the Black Bean version of this menu item, crisp went out the window. I have yet to get one of these that didn’t end up a soggy mess. I want to blame it on the nacho cheese and sour cream, but since those items are also in the classic version, I think it either has to do with the restaurant themselves or it is the beans wreaking havoc. Either way, this is one menu item that simply fails to deliver more often than not.
