Is Hershey’s Cookies n’ Creme bar one of the best candy bars?

Would you like Oreos in a candy bar form? That is pretty much what the Hershey’s Cookies n’ Creme bar is. I remember when this first came out I was obsessed with it. Oreos in a candy bar? Yes, please! Who wouldn’t like that?

This is also the one candy bar where I actually like white chocolate. I don’t know how that works but with this, it just…works! Although technically it’s not white chocolate anymore, it’s like a confection but we don’t need to get technical here. It started as white chocolate but has since been changed to a white confection.

Mixed into the “chocolate” are chocolate cookies that resemble Oreos. Obviously, the white chocolate is meant to represent the cream inside an Oreo AKA the best part.

The candy bar was first introduced in 1995 by The Hershey Company and has been around since then. I don’t know if it was officially the first time white chocolate was on the market, but it was definitely the first time I had it. and it’s certainly the first time it was in something that was in so many stores. The ingredient kind of blew up after that.

This candy bar has become so popular that in 2013, General Mills made a cereal out of it. Only the most popular candy gets that treatment i.e. Reese’s Cups and Reese’s Puffs.
