Is Hershey’s Milk Chocolate with Almonds one of the best candy bars?

The Hershey’s bar is a classic candy bar. I’m specifically including the Hershey with Almonds bar mainly because it’s my favorite. Yep, I’m 100% biased.

Chocolate and nuts are a perfect combination. The creaminess of the chocolate and the crunchiness of the almonds works on so many levels. Chocolate and almonds may not be as classic a combination as chocolate and peanut butter but it goes together just as well.

Sure, a Hershey’s bar on its own is good. But with just chocolate, there isn’t a texture difference that you get when you add the almonds into the mix. The difference in textures between the chocolate and the almonds just makes it…*chef’s kiss*

Hershey’s Milk Chocolate with Almonds was introduced in 1908, a few years after the original bar was created. And just like the original bar, it comes in a slab that you can break up into little squares.

It makes it last longer which is always a good thing when it comes to chocolate and makes it easier to eat. And, although this might just be me, it’s just fun to break up the bar and eat it in small pieces.

The Hershey’s Milk Chocolate with Almonds bar was so popular that it eventually came out in other flavors like dark chocolate,  white chocolate, and with cranberries and blueberries. If you haven’t had one in a while, now is the time!
