Tostitos and Carla Hall have ideas for all those July 4 leftovers
July 4 is all about hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, salads, and apple pie. Maybe even some s’mores for the bonfire after the barbecue. But what do you do with all the leftovers on July 5? Even if you have a lot of people over, chances are you’re going to have quite a few leftovers. That’s where chef Carla Hall and Tostitos come in.
Chef Carla Hall created two different and delicious recipes made from leftovers and Tostitos chips. The first recipe is Spicy Tostitos S’mores. Sounds weird, right? But spicy and sweet is always a good combination. Especially when chocolate is involved.

The recipe uses Tostitos Habanero flavored chips instead of the classic graham crackers.
Then toast your marshmallow and add it, along with a bar of chocolate, between two chips. This is definitely a unique take on the bonfire dessert.

The next recipe is Tostitos Crusted Corn Dogs. The perfect thing for any leftover hotdogs and Tostitos chips you have.
Corn dogs are good on their own, but why not make them better with some crunchy Tostitos Original Restaurant Style chips? The chips are used as part of the outside coating. Yum!
And because it’s chef Carla Hall, she makes them look very fancy (and delicious) as you can see in the picture above.
Where can you get the recipes for these two after-July-4th treats? After everyone has gone home, the barbecue has cooled down, and you’ve put all the food away, visit the Tostitos website on July 5 to get these two recipes and a bunch more.
