Whipped – Urban Dessert Lab has a special treat to get all of us salivating on National Ice Cream Day. This new creation will be Brick Bars and will be available this Sunday, July 18th. It will be unique because it is certainly not the type of ice cream sandwiches our parents grew up with.

In a press email, the Brick Bars are described as a tribute to Whipped-Urban Dessert Lab’s home in New York where the term “brick” is often used to describe cold winter conditions. The sandwich is made in-house and from scratch. It features Whipped’s signature oat milk-based hard ice creme Oate in between two vegan cake pieces.

Whipped – Urban Dessert Lab began as a pop-up in Williamsburg, Brooklyn before growing in popularity. Owned by two sisters, the shop has become a viral social media sensation and has had its fair share of long lines.

The primary offerings began with oat milk soft-serve that could be loaded with toppings and sauces and eaten from cones or cups. Homemade topping combinations such as Coffee Waffle Crunch and Cinnamon Apple Crisp certainly have my mouth watering. With popularity came a storefront shop in Manhattan and also the creation of the Oate for those who prefer hard ice cream.

The Whipped – Urban Dessert Lab Brick Bars come with a flavor decision

The Brick Bars will be selling for $7.00 and will be coming in three distinct flavors: Cookies & Creme, Mocha, and Brown Sugar Vanilla. It is completely plant-based, vegan, and allergy-friendly. Although this might sound too healthy, the oat-based ice cream should offer a very distinctly creamy texture that only the finest of handmade ice cream can offer.

If this wasn’t enough, Whipped-Urban Dessert Lab will be selling the Brick Bars along with their hard scoop Oate collection outside of their storefront Manhattan location. Both items will be sold from an ice cream cart to give you a nostalgic feel. This will be the first time Oate will be offered in-store instead of just online. If you are in the area, you may want to head over before everything is gone.

If you can’t get to Manhattan to enjoy the Brick Bars or Oate ice creme, do not worry. All of these items will also be available for shipping on Goldbelly. This way you can enjoy these sweet treats anywhere nationwide and especially from the comfort of your home.
