MasterChef: Will a new episode of Legends season air August 4
The 2020 Olympics are in full swing on NBC, so you might wondering if we will be getting a new episode of MasterChef: Legends over on FOX. You might also be wondering why what’s happening on NBC would have any impact on a competing network and its cooking competition.
The simple answer to the second question is this is one of those events that dominates the news and the world, so even if we are talking about non-NBC networks, they will feel the effect of the Olympics. And the last thing a network wants to do is to set up one of their shows to fail in the ratings (Olympics coverage is dominating across the board).
All of this to get to the question of if there will be a new episode of MasterChef: Legends on August 4.
MasterChef: Legends took a two week hiatus for the Olympics
It turns out that there will not be a new episode on Aug. 4 because of the Olympics. And while the Gymnastics and Swimming are over, there is still plenty of Track and Field, Volleyball, Basketball, and more on our screens.
So when will the next new episode of MasterChef: Legends air on FOX?
We can expect to see a new episode on Aug. 11 when Roy Choi joins the judges for an ‘Elevated Street Food’ episode. Plus, once MasterChef returns from this Olympics imposed hiatus, they will be going full steam ahead through to the finale which is scheduled for Sept. 15. And if you are wondering how they are getting to the finale so quickly, it looks like they will be doubling up episodes from Aug. 25 until the finale.
For now (if you aren’t watching the Olympics), you can catch up on MasterChef: Legends with the help of Hulu and the FOX website!
