Ice cream, oh super creamy treats….something so delicious, so creamy, so fruity, and the most perfect treat for just about any hot and Summer day!
Next up, let’s travel on over to Florida and Georgia for some cool deliciousness!
9. Florida
Ice Cream Parlor: Jaxon’s Ice Cream Parlor
Flavor Spotlight: The Kitchen Sink
This classic parlor was first founded and opened back in 1956, owned by a family out in Dania Beach. The decor is very reminiscent of some classic American memorabilia, along with some delicious run-on menu items, and the absolutely gigantic portions that each frozen order comes with.
The flavors are classic; in fact, The Kitchen Sink is served in an actual kitchen sink, along with heaping portions and scoops of toppings to match the chosen flavor(s), as well as all topped off with a sparkler for some delicious ‘firework’ fun (perfect fun for kids and adults alike)!
10. Georgia
Ice Cream Parlor: Voga Italian Gelato
Flavor Spotlight: Dark Chocolate Orange
It’s such a classic way to serve and present the ice cream (all of the humongous tubs are jammed into a glass case, just sitting there and waiting to be scooped for each and every customer. Another classic flavor that they serve besides the classic Italian flavor of dark chocolate orange, they also serve a flavor called Zabaglione, which is essentially a deliciously classic Italian dessert made with the three following things: egg yolks, sugar, and some sort of variation of a sweet (dessert) wine as well.
