11. Hawaii

Ice Cream Parlor: Ululani’s Hawaiian Shave Ice

Flavor Spotlight: Lychee

The owners: Ululani and her husband David. Their reasoning for opening up their own shave ice business: they became so infatuated with the freezing cold dessert that they just simply couldn’t resist it one single bit!

Here, shave ice is essentially put into paper-thin shards of ice that are then pressed together, making the illusion of one perfectly delicious ice cloud. Then, the colorful, flavorful syrups are added, with delish flavors, such as Blue Vanilla and Watermelon (but trust us, there’s way way more).

12. Idaho

Flavor Spotlight: Ice Cream Soda

The Parlor mixed with a Candy Store is every sweet tooth (and child’s) dream come true all in one store/parlor alike. Here, you can get some classic sweets of banana splits, shakes, and floats, or even their very own version of Ice Cream Sodas.

Some of their classics (flavors)? Coffee beans, toasted coconut, and caramel.
