15. Iowa
Ice Cream Parlor: Snookie’s Malt Shop

Here’s a little fun fact about ice cream in Iowa: this state in particular is one of the largest leading producers of ice cream, so there’s certainly no shortage of parlors and shops all over the state!
Over at Snookie’s, you’re greeted with the classic mom-and-pop-style ice cream shop that you can find roadside in Des Moines, serving it’s super cool customers since 1986 (cool, right)! They have shakes, malts, classic ice cream flavors, soft serve, and different candies and treats to go right along with them, including one with frosted animal crackers – yum yum, double yum!
16. Kansas

Over in Kansas, Sylas and Maddy’s is clearly a crowd-fave; with that being said, there are two locations, with one sitting over in Olathe, and the other one sitting over in Lawrence (spread out just enough for those that live near or in either of the two different areas in particular).
