The first-ever Waffle House opened up in Georgia back in 1955 and has since become an iconic spot in the south. And beyond breakfast, Waffle House also offers a lunch menu that includes burgers, sandwiches, and more. It’s a pretty solid fast food chain worth checking out at least once.

So if you’re living in the Big Apple like I am, you’ll have to travel a little bit to get to your nearest Waffle House.
