How is McDonald’s celebrating National Cheeseburger Day?

Did you know that September 18 is National Cheeseburger Day? And of course, McDonald’s is celebrating with the perfect deal!

What better way is there to celebrate a day dedicated to the cheeseburger than with a Double Cheeseburger? And not just any Double Cheeseburger. This is a McDonald’s Double Cheeseburger with pickles, onion, ketchup, and mustard all sandwiched between two beefy patties and two slices of cheese on a delicious, fluffy bun.

Seriously, I am drooling in my head just writing about it.

So how could McDonald’s possibly make this whole thing even better? How about by offering a delicious deal to celebrate the big day!

According to the press email we received from McDonald’s, on September 18, you will want to head on over to the restaurant’s app and you will be able to snag a Double Cheeseburger for just $0.50. That’s right for just $0.50 you can enjoy the deliciousness of a Double Cheeseburger.

Yes, this is a one-day only deal, which makes sense since it is all part of the company’s celebration of the cheeseburger.

As an added bonus, if this is your first time using the app and making a purchase with it, you will earn 1500 bonus points that can be used for a variety of free menu items. Which is a great incentive to become a MyMcDonald’s Rewards member through the app.

The $0.50 Double Cheeseburger is only good one time through the app and it cannot be combined with any other discounts or deals. Also, we have to point out that the 1500 bonus points are only valid until December 31, so make sure you use them before you lose them.
