Now, this isn’t the first time we team up with Hickory Farms for a review, so we knew to expect some great stuff! But their unique baskets never fail to surprise us.

For the season, the packaging matches the theme, there are football-shaped snacks, beer options, customized snacks meant for small gatherings, and more! Below are our thoughts on the basket we received.

We picked the Big Game Day Gift Set from Hickory Farms because it has a little bit of everything: Some foods we have sampled before (and love) and new products!

I love how it all came in a football bowl! You can use this at your next party and it looks great at the center of the table when you have friends over for game day.

This was my first time sampling chips and salsa from Hickory Farms. If you know me, you know I’m a sucker for a good chips and salsa combo! It’s the best appetizer in my book, but can easy go wrong if it’s not made correctly. To be honest, I didn’t have high hopes — and I really should’ve known better.

The salsa is Gil’s Gourmet Zinfandel Garlic Mild Salsa, and the chips are Casa Chicas Chips. It’s the first time I try these brands.

Tip: Put the salsa jar in the fridge for a while so you can get the best tasting salsa! No one likes warm salsa, am I right?

The chips are delicious! Crispy and ready to eat! They hold the salsa well and it’s a fantastic combo. I’ll be looking out for chips and salsa in more Hickory Farm baskets and sets.
