We all have our guilty food pleasures. Whether it’s fast food or frozen pizzas or some form of candy, everyone has that one snack or food you will never apologize for craving. For the band members of the riotgrrrl punk band Froggy, it happens to be nachos from 7-Eleven.

And who can blame them? We’ve all been there. It’s the middle of the night, you’ve been out enjoying some adult beverages and suddenly the idea of 7-Eleven nachos sounds awesome. So you stop, load up the paper tray with chips and smother them in nacho cheese.

To some people, that sounds disgusting. For others, myself included, it sounds like a party for one.

And as we mentioned, it would appear that those of us who love a good helping of 7-Eleven nachos can include the members of the Philadelphia area band Froggy among our number. How do we know? Because they love 7-Eleven nachos so much, they wrote a song about them.

7-Eleven goes all in with Froggy on their song about their popular nachos.

However, it gets better. Froggy recorded and released the song “7-Eleven Nachos” as part of their first EP release and as a joke, asked the fine folks at 7-Eleven if they wanted to sponsor the band. Never in a million years did they expect to get an answer.

But an answer they did get. And not just a Tweet or a post on 7-Eleven’s Facebook page, no. The convenience store chain actually put up the money for the girls to make an actual music video for “7-Eleven Nachos.” Filmed in their hometown of Doylestown, the video featured the band playing the song during an impromptu concert in a 7-Eleven parking lot.

The video made its debut all over social media earlier this week and has garnered the girls of Froggy a whole new, much larger audience. And all because they love the nachos at 7-Eleven and don’t care who knows it.
