During the recent season of Bravo’s Top Chef in Portland, Talenti hosted a competition that saw chef’s creating their own gelato flavors. And Chef Avishar Barua was the winner, with a flavor that we could not wait to get our hands on. Well, now we can!

The winning flavor has finally starting hitting freezer shelves and we are already obsessed. The NEW Talenti Layers Peanut Butter Crunch is here and it is amazing.

We couldn’t wait to get our hands on this new flavor, even before we knew exactly what we were getting, but now, we are even more excited.

Talenti releases the Top Chef winning gelato which gives us Peanut Butter Crunch magic

We had the chance to try this new flavor of Talenti for ourselves, and it is just as delicious as we expected it to be. Not only do we get a creamy gelato that graces our taste buds with peanut butter, but then we have pieces of crunchy graham cracker in the middle. Plus, we have a layer of brown butter sugar sauce.

But it doesn’t end there, as this Layered dessert also gives us a layer of vanilla gelato. Finally, at the very bottom of the jar (container) there are mini peanut butter cups. That’s right, this is a dessert that gives us five delicious layers of flavor, from the peanut butter gelato and vanilla gelato to the peanut butter cups, graham cracker pieces, and the brown butter sugar sauces, this is magic in a single treat.

Whether you eat this gelato in its individual layers or make sure that all the layers end up on your spoon, this is an amazing dessert that will satisfy your sweet tooth with ease. And the fact that it was based off of a winning challenge from Top Chef just adds to the magic of this treat and we are here for it.
