Buffalo Wild Wings teams with Doritos for a must try sauce

Buffalo Wild Wings and Doritos are two brands known for flavor innovation. For Buffalo Wild Wings, much of the creativity shines through its variety of sauce options. When it comes to Doritos, the company seems to have every flavor of tortilla chip imaginable. It seems like each brand is perfect for each other.

Have you ever hoped that these two worlds would collide? Well, now it has because beginning on September 29th, Buffalo Wild Wings and Doritos launched their first-ever flavor collaboration. The limited-edition wing option is called the Doritos Spicy Sweet Chili Flavored Sauce. It is two of my guilty pleasure eating options coming together as one.

The new sauce is made up of flavors including soy sauce, brown sugar, onion, garlic, and paprika. It seems to hit both on both sweet and savory with just a little kick. The wings also get topped with Doritos Spicy Sweet Chili chip crumbles for a playful layer of extra crunch in every bite. If that wasn’t enough, every order also comes with a small sample bag of chips for our enjoyment too.

Buffalo Wild Wings used social media to drop hints of the new wing collaboration

To help tease the release of the new flavor collab, Buffalo Wild Wings used social media to help drop some hints. Over the weekend on Saturday, Buffalo Wild Wings updated its avatar to an orange and purple icon featuring the profile of a chicken wing inside a triangle (to mimic the shape of a Doritos chip).

Signs with the new logo were present during the College Gameday broadcast in Chicago. One even made an appearance on TV. After this, Buffalo Wild Wings made sure to tweet out a photo with the 9.29.21 launch date.

This is the first-ever collaboration between Buffalo Wild Wings and Doritos. Hopefully, this will be the beginning of a long-standing partnership. The new sauce which could work perfectly for any game day celebration is only available for a limited time. I will be heading out to Buffalo Wild Wings to try them out as soon as I get the chance.
