It feels like every other week we are brining you news that Burger King is either debuting or announcing the return of some variation on their King sandwich. I’m starting to understand why the Whopper felt it had to get it’s own Twitter account.

Anyway, there have been various versions of the Bacon King, a Garlic and Bacon King, a Breakfast King and in Canada you can get a Southwestern King. And those are just the ones we know about. Lord only knows what Burger King Japan has available.

Now it has been revealed by the King’s Court over at Chewboom that an old favorite has returned to Burger King menus everywhere. And for this King you better bring your appetite. Because you’re going to need it.

The latest Burger King offering is the Double Quarter Pound King. First introduced in 2018, the sandwich packs a lot of burger and is sure to satisfy the hunger of just about anyone.

The Double Quarter Pound King is back at Burger King for a limited time.

The Double Quarter Pound King includes two flame-grilled 100 percent beef patties topped with a couple of slices of American cheese as well as onions, pickles, ketchup and mustard. All of that is sandwiched between a sesame seed bun and will surely be a challenge for some people to finish.

At this rate, we’ll probably have news of yet another new or returning King sandwich by the time you finish reading this. I mean, the King is really good, there’s no argument there but geez. This is a whole lot of King.

The Double Quarter Pound King is only going to be back at Burger King for a limited time. So if you want one, go get one while you can. You know you want to.
