On April 1, 2021, Culver’s joked about bringing the Curderburger to their menu. It was a huge cheese curd slab put between two buns. But because it was April Fool’s Day, it was just a joke. It wasn’t meant to actually become a reality. But that’s about to change on Friday, Oct 15, 2021 AKA National Cheese Curd Day.

This Friday, the CurderBurger is coming to participating Culver’s restaurants nationwide. But this version of the burger is much more than just a big cheese curd between two buns. It starts with a Deluxe ButterBurger with lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles. Nothing unusual there, right? But it’s then topped with a disk of golden fried cheese.

The fried cheese is made up of yellow and white cheddar cheese curds and is then covered in bread crumbs and fried. YUM! Talk about taking a cheeseburger to the next level. Perfect for National Cheese Curd Day.

While you’re there, don’t forget to pick up some fries and your favorite flavor of Culver’s custard. Or try the flavor of the day! My local Culver’s has Really Reese’s as Flavor of the Day on Oct 15, but it usually differs depending on the location.
