Yep. Taco Bell is at it again. Of all the fast food chains, The Bell is the one that always seems to be innovating and trying new things. Sometimes it’s a whole new idea and other times they simply take a fresh look at a classic menu item.

This time it turns out to be the latter as Taco Bell is trying something new with the always popular burrito. They are giving the menu staple a fresh coat of paint and a new price point that may have you deciding to make a road trip to try some.

According to the taco lovers at Chewboom, the new item is called the Cheesy Beefy Melt Burrito and right now The Bell is testing it at their Ohio locations. Cheesy Beefy Melt Burritos come in three different varieties and will only set you back two bucks.

You read that right. For the pair of crumpled up dollar bills in your pocket you might soon be able to get a Taco Bell burrito of your very own. Or you could show up with a 20 and get a whole sack of them.

The Taco Bell Cheesy Beefy Melt Burritos come in spicy and crunchy varieties.

The baseline Cheesy Beefy Melt Burrito includes seasoned rice and beef, nacho cheese sauce, a three cheese blend and sour cream all wrapped up snug in a warm tortilla. Not to bad for eight quarters.

The Crunchy Beefy Melt Burrito version includes all of the above as well as Queso Tortilla Strips. Meanwhile the Spicy Beefy Melt Burrito brings some heat to the party by adding creamy chipotle sauce and jalapenos to the mix.

Again, and we can’t stress this enough. You get all that for $2. That is a steal even for Taco Bell and just screams cure for the late night munchies.

The bad news is that the Cheesy Beefy Melt Burritos are currently only available in the Ohio area. Which means you either should head to social media to make sure Taco Bell takes them nationwide or make a trip to the Buckeye State.

Personally we really hope they decide to release them nationally. Because $2 for that sounds way too good to be true.
