Why is Burger King so much more awesome in other parts of the world? I mean seriously, I love the Ch’King and the Whopper, but you look at the innovative and amazing things you can get at Burger King in other countries and you think “What the hell?”

We’ve seen the the huge Tokyo Teriyaki Tower Burger and the Big Mouth Burger in Japan, both sandwiches I would love to at least try. Thailand tried Black and Pink Burgers for Valentine’s Day and earlier this month Burger King Canada gave the world the Southwestern King Burger.

Now word has come down that Burger King Canada is once again trying to make Americans jealous with their latest creation. It’s a new twist on the classic Whopper in honor of Halloween and it’s something that may have more then one burger lover taking a quick trip north.

As reported by Chewboom, the new sandwich is called the Franken Whopper and it’s an idea so simple, so elegant, so ridiculously awesome that I may demand that Burger King bring it to the States.

The Burger King Canada Franken Whopper is the best of three worlds.

So what makes the Franken Whopper so great? Imagine your classic Whopper. Add some cheese and remove whatever toppings you don’t like. (Remember, you can have it your way.) Then add a layer of the chain’s classic onion rings. Sound good? Wait, it gets better. Now add a layer of french fries.

I know, right? Boggles the mind no one thought to do this sooner. And it took Canada to finally make the magic happen. As Americans, we should be ashamed of ourselves.

If you do decide to grab your passport and take a trip north of the border, make sure you have Burger King’s BK App installed on your phone. You can only order a Franken Whopper through the app. And do it before Halloween since once the Great Pumpkin is gone, so is the Franken Whopper.

Fast food in America really needs to up their collective game. I’m getting sick of seeing other countries get all the really cool new burgers. Are you listening Burger King?
