Chicken Salad Chick gives us a new chicken salad for the holidays
When you think of the holidays, do you think of chicken salad? Probably not. Well Chicken Salad Chick thinks we should and with their new holiday-themed offering we might just decide that this side dish needs to make it all of our holiday tables.
If you aren’t familiar with Chicken Salad Chick (first of all you are missing out!), and you love chicken salad, this is a fast casual chain that has at least (and sometimes more than) 12 different chicken salads on their menu. And you don’t just have to get a dollop of chicken salad on a bed of lettuce. They have sandwiches, salads, and even soups – all of which are delicious!
And now, Chicken Salad Chick is making our holiday wishes come true with the arrival of a brand new holiday salad. So what is this new salad called and how does it make holiday magic happen?
Chicken Salad Chick introduces a holiday-themed chicken salad to their menu
Introducing the new Deck the Holly! Only available for the holiday season, this limited time salad is described as taking their “Chicken Salad Chick cult-favorite, Holly Jalapeno, and adds cranberry for the perfect festive blend of sweet and spicy for the Christmas season!” This means that they take a chicken salad that features jalapenos and adds in tart bursts of cranberry.
Whether you eat this chicken salad straight up with a fork, eat it on crackers, or make it part of a meal in restaurant, there are plenty of ways to enjoy this holiday offering. And of course, even Chicken Salad Chick is throwing out some suggestions for us, including adding it to a charcuterie board, stuffing jalapeno peppers for a new take on a jalapeno popper, and even as the filling in a lettuce wrap.
As someone who has enjoyed Chicken Salad Chick in the past, I am excited for this seasonal arrival to the menu. And I can’t wait to give this new salad a try for myself!
