It was a royal affair for the wedding of Paris Hilton and Carter Reum, which took place on November 11. And that might have something to do with the menu which included actual gold leaf covered potatoes.

We love Paris Hilton, and our appreciation for her only grew once her Netflix cooking series began streaming. With Hilton having her own cooking show, we knew that her wedding food would have to be amazing. So is there any surprise that when the menu listed Yukon gold potatoes, they really meant it?

With Chef Wolfgang Puck in charge of the menu for Hilton’s wedding to Reum, there was no doubt that this was going to be an impressive spread. And according to Page Six, the chef did not disappoint.

Not only were gold leaf covered potatoes served as part of the entree, but these potatoes even featured a topping of sour cream and caviar. These potatoes were next level elegance and luxury, but they were not the only thing on the menu that has left us with dropped jaws.

So what else made it to the wedding in terms of the menu? Well, based on the picture of Kim Kardashian‘s wedding menu, guests were served such dishes as,

  • Asian pear salad with figs, pomegranate vinaigrette, and candied pecans
  • Potato-crusted sea bass with a Moscato Beurre Blanc
  • Grilled NY Steak with Bordelaise Sauce

And for Paris Hilton’s wedding cake, a flourless chocolate cake was served with a 64 percent chocolate mousse, coffee ice cream, and a cocoa nib nougatine.

Basically, this menu was luxury taken to the next level. And we would expect nothing less.

But the next level dishes didn’t stop at the wedding reception. In fact, there was an entirely different menu for guests who lasted late into the night. And that menu featured one of our favorite guilty eat luxuries – duck fat french fries!

Honestly, we are obsessed with this entire wedding menu, but it is definitely the gold leaf potatoes for us.

What do you say Guilty Eats readers? Are you as obsessed with the gold leaf covered potatoes as we are? Is that “hot” or not?
